A new officially sanctioned sim racing series, the British GT Esports Cup, signals the British GT Championship’s return to virtual motorsport in 2024.

A partnership between the series’ real-world organiser, SRO Motorsports Group, and Britain’s governing body, Motorsport UK, plus Simracing.GP will allow gamers of all abilities to compete for a nationally recognised esports title on Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) this February and March.

This first of it's kind series is designed for drivers of all levels to compete side by side on iconic British tracks in incredible GT3 machinery on Assetto Corsa Competizione.

From 3rd February to 16th March, 6 rounds (see calendar below) the season will take place for the drivers - split into PRO and AM classes, with the driver levels being determined using Simracing.GP's proprietary ranking system.

A mixture of race formats will see drivers tested not just on track but with strategy too

AM - SGP Pure Performance rank of 5999 or below

The championship will include live Stewarding throughout all six Rounds

All races will be broadcast LIVE on Motorsport UK TV

In collaboration with British GT, Motorsport UK Esports are please to offer the following prizes to competitors within the championship.

1st Place Team - x4 Hospitality tickets (x2 tickets per driver) to a 2024 British GT Round of their choice PLUS x4 Grid Walk passes

2nd Place Team - x4 Hospitality tickets (x2 tickets per driver) to a 2024 British GT Round of their choice

3rd Place Team - x4 General Admission tickets (x2 tickets per driver) to a 2024 British GT Round of their choice

In addition to this Next Level Racing have provided a HF8 Haptic Cushion which will be awarded to a driver selected at random out of drivers who have competed in all 6 Rounds of the Championship
