OVERVIEW
Welcome to the second running of the Rookie Sportscar Cup by Motorsport UK Esports aimed at new/less experienced drivers, using cars and tracks included within the standard iRacing membership.
This championship is for drivers who have never reached 2,000 iRating (on road licence) and is split across two car classes.
All the circuits used are included in the standard iRacing membership so there is no extra cost to get involved.
All drivers must be a Motorsport UK Esports Paid member, if you are not already, sign up to the £27.99 12-month membership by clicking the 'Membership' button below.

DETAILS
See below the main details relating to the championship including driver eligibility
- For drivers who have never reached 2,000 iRating
- x2 car classes - BMW M2 CSR and Mazda MX-5
- Drivers can enter either class
- Each car class is scored separately
- Five Rounds throughout June - using circuits included with iRacing Membership
- One drop round - best 4 rounds count to championship
- x2 20 minute races per round
- Fixed setups
- No rain for any sessions
- All rounds broadcast on Race Spot TV YouTube Channel and Motorsport UK TV
- Stewarding for all rounds
- Drivers must be 13 years old or over
- Any driver under the age of 18 must complete this parental consent form
PRIZES
For 2025 Cube Controls have joined the Rookie Sportscar Cup as an official partner which means fantastic prizes for the championship.
The winner of each class will win a Cube Controls F-Core Evo wheel rim
2nd place driver in each class will receive a pair of Cube Controls RG+ Sim Gloves
3rd place driver in each class will receive a pair of Cube Controls G+ Sim Racing Socks
