OVERVIEW
Welcome to Season 2 of the Abruzzi Prototype Challenge. Growing from the success of the 2024 season the Abruzzi Prototype Challenge is back and it's even bigger. The Challenge is now extended to six Rounds, now including one drop round. The Abruzzi Prototype Challenge is a multiclass championship taking in some of the most iconic circuits in the world, culminating in the 300km of Silverstone.
This multiclass championship uses the LMDh (GTP) and LMP3 cars on iRacing and both car classes are split into PRO and AM.
All races are 60 minutes long except the final round which is 300km of Silverstone, this should last approximately 90 minutes.

Round 3 – 2nd July – Watkins Glen
Round 4 – 9th July – Suzuka
Round 5 – 16th July – Imola
Round 6 – 23rd July – Silverstone 300kms
Eligibility
- All drivers must be 13 years old or over
- Any driver under the age of 18 must complete the parental consent form

Event Timetable
- Wednesday Evenings
- Practice - 6:30pm BST
- Qualifying - 7:30pm BST - (Lone Qualifying, 3 Laps, 10 Minutes)
- Race - 7:45pm - 8:45pm BST
Car Classes
PRO = A driver who has ever reached more than 3,000 iRating
AM = Any driver who does not meet the PRO criteria
Event Rules
- Rolling Start
- Fast Repairs: 1 per race
- Open Setups
- Minimum Licence: Class D 2.0
- Drive Through Penalty after 20x incident points and then every 10x after that
- Strict qualifying in game scrutineering
- No tyre usage restrictions
- Forecasted Weather - rain possible
- 1 point for fastest lap
PRIZES
All prizes have been kindly provided by the championship Title Partner - Abruzzi
The winner of each class will receive a fully custom pair of Abruzzi, Gloves, Boots and a Shirt + $10 iRacing gift card
The second place driver in each class will receive a fully custom pair of Abruzzi Gloves & Boots + $5 iRacing gift card
The third place drive in each class will receive a fully custom pair of Abruzzi Gloves
Further to this: After each Round any driver who is classified at the end of the race will be entered into a draw to be randomly selected to win a pair of fully custom Abruzzi Gloves.
